Elite Running Team athletes ended the 2022 season on a high note at the Zurich Diamond League Finals, holding their ground against the very best competitors in the world.
The women’s 3000m steeplechase saw Zerfe Wondemagegn clinch a nice personal best of 9:06.37 for fourth. In the men’s steeple, Getnet Wale arguably had his best race of the season over the distance, with a superb second-place finish in 8:08.56. Selemon Barega had difficulty fighting over the tight corners of the exhibition 5000m in Zurich’s City Center, finishing 7th in 13:13.16.
